Focus
Social and emotional development is at the forefront of our daily routines with a focus to help children become active and positive citizens of their community. This may be in the form of completing jobs in the class such as recycling, helping with classroom chores, aiding younger children getting dressed or looking after our class pet.
Inspire, question, discover, evaluate.
Project based learning allows for every child to work on their individual learning goals within a team. Children have different ways of expressing themselves so we allow them to set out their own learning by asking questions. We then use those questions to steer our learning projects.
Reading
We offer a little bit of an extra curricular bonus by providing Oxford Reading Tree books to the children throughout the year. Generally, children are able to read at level 6-9 by the end of the year in preschool without any prior reading knowledge.
